In 2013, Mariam graduated from the Academy of Arts, specializing in the Faculty of Fashion Design with a particular focus on shoe design. Remarkably, within the same year, she inaugurated the pioneering store for emerging Georgian designers, named "Co. Lab," where she brought together a diverse group of designers from various creative disciplines. In conjunction with the store, she launched her own clothing brand, "Mariam Oniani," which is meticulously crafted in the adjoining atelier. With a decade of experience in the fashion industry, she has honed her skills and knowledge. Over this period, she has undertaken numerous courses in the fields of fashion business and marketing, including international endeavors in Italy, where she participated in masterclasses and workshops dedicated to the art of fashion styling.
Mariam graduated from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, in 2021, with a major in fashion design, focusing on shoe and accessory design. Following her graduation she completed internships with several Georgian fashion companies. In addition to her academic pursuits, she actively participated in a variety of workshops covering a range of topics, including sustainable fashion, communication technologies in fashion design, and fashion marketing. Parallel to her work in fashion field, Mariam also excels in 3D graphic design. Currently, her primary interest lies in the digital visualization of fashion, which encompasses the virtual simulation of clothing and accessories. She finds the convergence of these two passions particularly captivating. She firmly believes that digital fashion and emerging technological possibilities represent the future of the fashion industry.
